CN Tower took the initiative and put aMenus’ new “Create Your Own Accessible Restaurant Menu” form into action and now have their Winter Menu up on the site in a Mobile friendly, AODA compliant format, see for your self at 360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower
For just $150.00 a year, about an hours worth of time and no Webmaster skills necessary, CN Tower had their menu up and live for the Public to view on their Desktop computers or Mobile devices.
Should CN Tower need to make any corrections or updates, no problem, they just visit their Dashboard edit their Menu and click on Update and they’re done.
Not only is the Menu Accessible and Mobile friendly, Search Engines love it as well, just Google “CN Tower 360 Menu” or other combinations and it comes up on the first page.
Patrons can view the Menu at home on their computer, while on the road with Mobile phones and even make Reservations by clicking through to the link to their website, it’s all at their fingertips.
The site also has different viewing options and a French translation function courtesy of Google’s translation engine, you dont even leave the site to have it converted and again, just $150.00 and no Webmaster/IT skills necessary.
Because the Menus are Accessible to screen readers and other Disabilities it complies with the AODA regulation: Section 12: Accessible Formats and Communication Supports in the following manner:
12. (1) Except as otherwise provided, every obligated organization shall upon request provide or arrange for the provision of accessible formats and communication supports for persons with disabilities,

(b) at a cost that is no more than the regular cost charged to other persons.
(2) The obligated organization shall consult with the person making the request in determining the suitability of an accessible format or communication.
In the Event that someone who is Blind enters your Restaurant and doesn’t read Braille(not many do) or cant see Large Print, then if they have a Mobile device then you just direct them to your Accessible Menu and they’ll be able to see what you have to offer.
Instead of dealing with multiple bookmarks or Apps to their favourite Restaurant Menus potential Customers will find them all in one place for them to decide what and where they are going to eat and you control what they’ll see on any given day, so why not get started today on your Menu by going to Create your own Menu for $150.00!.
